How it works

It's fast and easy!

Spend some time creating your Profile on ClassDisco.  When you bid on a Request, students and parents will read your proposal and will visit your Profile to get a sense of who you are.

Put your best foot forward!

Take a look at how others will see your Profile, and make a few changes.

Some students and parents may post a project, and then go and search through Teacher profiles, and Contact them.  It's just another way to connect with great Learners on ClassDisco.

Once your Profile is complete, search the marketplace for projects to see if there are already any good matches you'd like to bid on.

When you find a Request that you'd like to bid on, just click the green Make a Proposal link.

Consider the project, and propose a bid that meets the requestor's budget, or bid a different amount if you feel appropriate.

Use the Cover Letter and Proposal fields to convey your thinking about the class, how you will provide it, and what makes YOU stand out.  

Attach a document if necessary.

The Parent/Student may reach out to you with questions, using the Message feature or the Chat feature in ClassDisco.  

Discuss away!  We want to make sure both parties are comfortable with the engagement.

Make sure you allow Push Notifications by saying Yes to this prompt.  This will allow your browser to tell you when you have a new message.

You will receive an email the Parent/Student sends you a Message using the Contact button, but not if they Chat with you.  Chats only result in notifications.

Once the project is Accepted, the Parent/Student will setup Milestones, which you will Approve and begin to Teach the Class.

As you reach Milestones you will mark them Achieved, and the Parent/Student will then mark them Completed, at which point you will be paid the corresponding amount (less any applicable Fees).
